***This is the dream that finally convinced me to start a blog.***

It's night time and I'm standing in some sort of clearing. The sky is a deep blue/black and the stars are brilliant. My eyes are drawn to a small body of water. Like a zoom lens I'm automatically fixed on the face of a woman. Early to mid 20's in appearance. Mid length, blonde wavy hair. There are large to mid size chunks of pale blue ice bobbing on the surface of the water around her. I can see steam rising off of the water. She's on her right side floating effortlessly. As the right side of her face is partially submerged I can see clearly on the left that there are 3 distinct, clean and deep gashes on her cheek. Her eyes are open. She's not dead but in some sort of stasis. It is obvious to me that she was not placed here by whomever was responsible for her injury but by someone with the intention of saving her. She was being healed.

The next moment I'm in what feels to me like a psychiatric facility. I'm standing at one end of a large room that appears to be the entire floor of a building. There are no windows. It's dingy and and the overhead lighting gives off a yellow tinge. On the far side of the room, straight ahead of me is a sort of cell. It's entirely constructed in chain link fence. It's situated against the wall, dead centre. I reach the door to the cell which is also constructed of chain link and I met met by a man whom gives off the impression of a doctor but is also my guide. He opens the door and enters first and holds it open as I'm ushered inside.

I'm aware that I'll soon be in the presence of the person responsible for the state of the woman in the water. Once inside I see The left side has an examination bed, sink and mirror above it. The other side is concealed from the outside and has a small doorway to to enter through. What appeared to be chain link on the outside has solid walls when you're inside. Sitting on the examination bed staring straight ahead, profile to myself and my guide is a girl in a hospital gown. She is presented to me as another part of myself. My guide is behaving cautiously. Calculating his every move so as not to agitate her.

When I look at her face which has a dusting of faint white powder I see that she looks exactly like me; only her hair is long, very long dark brown and hangs down passed her waist in messy, thick strands. When she turns to look at me her expression took me by surprise. It's a combination of confident, sadistic and violent. Her emotions are so strong that I can feel them emanating from her every pore. The most prevalent being anger, hate and murderous impulse. What I can also feel is something I know was only meant for me and that is love. I feel safe because of this.

My guide indicates that he has something important to say to me but what he has to say will surely agitate her. He writes it the mirror above the sink. He's chosen the mirror because it's the one place she's incapable of seeing. His message I can't recall verbatim but I do remember the gist of it which is I need to hold my ground. It would be catastrophic should she be allowed out.

I'm in the other half of the cell now. The room has a less medical feel to it. There is a bed in here as well with a hospital curtain going around it, partially drawn. My back is to the doorway and she's behind me. My eyes are on my guide who is standing in front of me, his eyes also on me. She comes up from behind and wraps her arms around me and I can see this from an outside view. Her head close to mine we're identical in appearance now. Her hair is like mine, her face no longer powdered white but her expression remains as cold as before but in a slight smirk. She says without opening her mouth 'let me out. It would be so much better if you did'.

Now I'm outside the cell, closing the chain link door behind me. She is in the examination portion of the room which is visible from the outside. My guide still inside and where I left him although not visible from where I'm standing. I'm in the middle of turning away when I'm startled by the crashing sound of a struggle. I look up to see that see that she has returned to her original appearance and is no longer alone in that room. Who is in there with her is a girl very similar in appearance however I cannot see her face. What I can see is that she's being violently attacked by my other part. I started screaming for my guide to come and stop her but the attack went on. He didn't answer and he didn't come. I continued to yell for him as I slammed the fencing. I'm helpless to do anything but watch because I cannot open the door. I can't open it because I am the only one capable of letting her out and she knows that. This attack is her way of trying to lure me back inside so that I can open the door...Which I wont do. The last thing I remember is focusing on my hands as they gripped the chain link.

***After that another dream started which consisted of me being in very boring night club with a big bar, wrap around leather seating against the wall and magenta lighting. Nothing special to report there***
